SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of work consists of the construction of two emergency potable water interconnection facilities between the City of Longmont and the Left Hand Water District (LHWD) potable water distribution systems.
Location 1 is sited at the southeast corner of N. 75th Street and Nelson Road within the public road right-of-way.
Location 2 is sited at the southwest corner of Renaissance Drive and Summerlin Drive within the public road right-of-way and outlot.
Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and services for the complete construction of the interconnection facilities, including site preparation; erosion and sedimentation control; yard piping; precast concrete vault structures; mechanical equipment; heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment; electrical systems; site restoration; and mobilization and demobilization.
BID CONDITIONS:
Bidders must submit with their bid evidence that they are qualified to perform the Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
Contractor must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing work similar to that detailed in the drawings and specifications. The Contractor and on-site representative with immediate charge shall provide documentation of a minimum of two (2) completed potable water pump station projects within the last five (5) years, each with a design flow of at least 2500 gpm. Acceptable work includes work that the Contractor performed as a prime Contractor.
The electrical subcontractor and onsite representative with immediate charge must have experience with 480 volt, 3 phase service equipment 100 amps or greater, with a minimum of two (2) projects completed within the last five (5) years.
Bidders that fail to submit evidence showing that they meet the qualifications stated above may be considered nonresponsive. See Section 00 73 00 – Supplementary Conditions.
