RFP-TK-1529 - Eng/Design - Main Street (US 287) and Ken Pratt Intersection Improv

Summary of Specifications:
The Main Street (US 287) and Ken Pratt Boulevard (SH 119) intersection is the busiest intersection in Longmont with about 60,000 vehicles per day travelling through the intersection. As a result of high volumes on both streets, this intersection exceeds the City's level of service benchmark and has also been identified as a high accident location. The City is seeking a Consultant to provide engineering design services and assist in determining the most cost effective, beneficial improvements at Main Street and Ken Pratt Boulevard. The services may include data collection, survey/mapping, alternative analysis, cost estimating and engineering design work necessary to produce plans, specifications and construction documents. The scope of work will be refined during the design phase, but the main objective is to address capacity and safety concerns at this intersection.
