Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE: The Longmont Museum is seeking bids for in-gallery construction in preparation for the installation of a new permanent exhibition documenting the history of the Northern Colorado Front Range. The project has several components: removal of an existing non-bearing wall and carpeting; construction of new interior, non-bearing walls; finishing of select wall elements; fabrication of select cases built into the walls; rerouting or capping of some electrical, providing power to the exhibit from existing junction boxes located in the ceiling, and reworking the gallery track lighting system; extension of the existing sprinkler system at two locations; and installation of flooring. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 1:30 p.m., January 19, 2007, at the City of Longmont Museum at 400 Quail Road, Longmont. The engineer's estimate for this project is $76,000.
