IFB-MD-17048 - PWNR Building 5 Wash Bay Remodel

NOTE: A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held for this project.  Bidders must attend and sign in to the pre-bid meeting in order to be considered.  Bidders must be on time to the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bidders will not be allowed to sign in to the meeting once we start discussing the scope of work.

SCOPE: The work includes the demolition and removal of the existing overhead doors and structural
work to widen the existing openings to accommodate the new and larger overhead doors. The Contractor shall coordinate with the vendor providing the vehicle wash equipment for the removal of the existing wash equipment and verify all installation requirements for the new system. The Contractor shall further modify the existing HVAC systems and provide all the necessary electrical, mechanical, and plumbing modifications shown on the drawings and required for the equipment installation and hook-up by the wash equipment vendor. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating the installation and testing of the equipment control systems provided by others for this project.

BID CONDITIONS: Bidders must demonstrate experience in making structural modifications to existing
masonry buildings of comparable size, and in coordinating industrial or maintenance equipment installations. Bidders must have been in business for a minimum of 5 years with experience in remodel and new construction projects.
