Summary of Specifications:
The primary purpose of engaging the services of a Retail Recruitment Contractor is to facilitate retail investment in the City with a focus on the downtown area that results in the following: • Identifies and matches specific retailers that fit the Longmont economic and demographic profile with available space in downtown (and city) • Reduces vacant retail space in the downtown area by facilitating transactions between retailers and property owners that results in an increase in occupied retail space • Implements the recommended retail strategy actions identified in the Longmont Arts and Entertainment District Strategic Report & Action Program • Trains appropriate LDDA and City staff in strategies to continue and build on the efforts completed during this contract • Create and implement necessary and relevant retail recruitment incentives
