RFP-PJ-13013 - St. Vrain River Redevelopment Study

Summary of Specifications:
As described in the Overview and Goal sections of this RFP, the work requested for this project involves a comprehensive study of the St. Vrain River Corridor through the City of Longmont to accomplish several objectives. The scope of this study naturally breaks down into 2 phases. The first phase involves evaluating the current flood impacted areas and providing recommendations with regard to physical improvements proposed (based on preliminary engineering work already complete ) to mitigate the flood hazard. This includes urban design work which creates a park-like environment within the flood channel in its final design form. Additionally urban design recommendations for two replacement bridges planned as a part of the flood mitigation improvements. Phase 2 involves investigating adjacent land uses to the river corridor and evaluating redevelopment opportunities as described in this RFP.
