IFB-PJ-0011 - TENNIS COURT RESURFACING

Summary of Specifications:
This project entails resurfacing of two, four court complexes at two park sites. The construction of these courts is post tension concrete with an asphalt overlay, installed at the time of initial construction. The project will require that both courts be completely stripped of existing surfacing to expose the asphalt. The asphalt will then need to be prepared for resurfacing, including patching of the asphalt, crack sealing and any leveling/resurfacing courses to eliminate water puddling and application of primer or other products to ensure adhesion and provide a consistently smooth playing surface. The contractor will also apply the color and playing lines to the court. The resulting contract may be renewed for two additional years and may also be used for painting or repairs at other courts.
