IFB-PJ-0002 - TREE PRUNING & REMOVAL

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Longmont is seeking qualified companies to do tree pruning and tree removal services for specific neighborhoods in Longmont. This bid has minimum manadatory qualifications of: 1. Contractors must be a licensed tree contractor with the City of Longmont. 2. Contractors will need to provide valid certificates of insurance as required. 3. Illegal Alien documentation shall be required as well. 4. Must have an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist on staff who must be on site at all times while work is being performed aloft. If a contractor does not meet these minimum mandatory qualifications, they are not allowed to submit a bid at this time. If a contractor is interested in meeting the mandatory requirements, therefore becoming eligible to bid on the next tree pruning and removal bid, they may contact the project manager to learn what the process is. Bids for future tree pruning and removal may be issued up to 3 times per year, dependent on the City's budget. There is a pre-bid scheduled for two areas on this bid. For contractors wanting to bid these two areas, the pre-bid is mandatory. There are several other areas on this bid that can be bid without attending the pre-bid meeting.
