Summary of Specifications:
The Coal Creek Trail was considered one of the premiere trail systems along the Front Range prior to the flood disaster and is now no longer useable due to significant damage to the trails. As a result, the City of Louisville is moving forward with a recovery / renovation project. The project consists of two primary components, first return areas of the Coal Creek trail damaged by the flood to pre-flood conditions. Second, implement components of the Coal Creek Trail Improvement Report in a series of additive alternates, “add alts”. A consistent and balanced approach integrating all trail components in to a cohesive and seamless whole will be required to return the Coal Creek Trail system back to its former reputation. A preliminary timeline of four to six months is estimated for completion of the project. An “Add Alt” is requested to provide a cost to expedite the project completion timeframe to four months.
