Removal Milling of the asphalt mat for reconstruction, patching and overlay, including asphalt
material and aggregate base course material will be removed by the Contractors equipment and
labor. Materials removed will remain the property of the City and is to be hauled to a stockpile site on
the City of Loveland project site. Removal will include post milling cleanup.
Areas designated for asphalt removal by means of Loader /Backhoe by the Contractor, shall
include saw cutting the asphalt to a clean edge, removal of the asphalt, and base from the
designated area by means and methods to be determined by the contractor. Materials removed
will remain the property of the City and is to be hauled to City’s Recycling Center located at Jake
Kaufman & Son Inc. Aggregate Pit, 808 S. County Road 9E
