2020-001 - City-Wide Concrete Repair Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City-Wide Concrete Repair Project consists of various concrete repairs requested by departments within the City of Loveland. The Project requires a contractor that has the equipment and skilled labor to provide the removal and repair of concrete within the city right-of-way. This may include removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, crosspans, curb ramps, driveways, and portions of concrete roadway along with associated asphalt patching. The contractor also must have the ability to provide traffic control and when necessary the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures. This work will be done on a work order basis and may be intermittent.
The work for this project involves:
• The removal and replacement of damaged curb, gutter and sidewalk;
• The removal and replacement of damaged concrete crosspans;
• The retro-fitting of existing ADA ramps to current standards;
• The construction of new ADA ramps;
• The construction of sidewalk chase drains (sidewalk culverts);
• The construction or reconstruction of storm sewer inlets;
• Excavation and replacement of saturated subgrade materials;
• Hot asphalt patching for curb, gutter, ramps, crosspans, etc.;
• All associated traffic control aspects for activities listed above;
• All associated erosion control aspects associated with the above.
