The City of Loveland, Colorado (“City”) is requesting sealed proposals to provide E-Scrap Materials Recycling Services RFP #2024-042. Proposals must be received electronically at bids@cityofloveland.org or on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time (“MT”) on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at which time they will be recorded, but not publicly opened.

The City of Loveland (City) operates a full-line recycling drop-off center at 400 N. Wilson Avenue, Loveland, CO for use by residents of both City of Loveland and residents outside of Loveland. E-scrap includes, but is not limited to, computer components and TVs. On average, the City receives approximately ten (10) tons of e-scrap per month. Since the site is staffed, the City is able to control the quality of incoming materials and ensure that they are properly sorted into the appropriate containers located within open-sided Conex containers protected from weather-related precipitation. The City prefers to continue with this method of receiving and handling e-scrap during the course of this new agreement.

The City of Loveland (City) is requesting bids from qualified and competent individuals or companies to responsibly accept, process, and market numerous e-scrap/e-waste materials that are received from the public at the City’s Recycling Center

Proposals must be received electronically at bids@cityofloveland.org or on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time (“MT”) on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at which time they will be recorded, but not publicly opened.
Submitted emails must have the name of the project and bid number in the subject line of the email. Please list the company’s name in the body of the email. Attached documents should have the bid number and company name in the name of the document. No bids will be considered which have not been received by the deadline set forth above, as determined by the city email server.
The City is not responsible for delays occasioned by the internet, outages of service, the City email server, or any other electronic delay. The city email server scans all emails with attachments and delays the receipt of those emails up to 4 minutes, please plan your submission accordingly.
