The City of Loveland, Colorado will receive sealed bids for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at Loveland Transit Center. Bids must be received electronically at bids@cityofloveland.org on or before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The subject line in the email must contain the name of the bid and the company name and address should be in the body of the email.
The City of Loveland (“City”) recently constructed the Loveland Transit Center located at 350 West 37th Street, Loveland, Colorado. The construction included all site work, and underground infrastructure to support Level 2 charging stations. The City was awarded a grant from the Charge Ahead Colorado program through the Colorado Energy Office which will partially fund this project.
The scope of services includes furnishing and installing eight (8) Level 2 (L2) charging ports to serve eight (8) parking spots in the public parking lot located at the Loveland Transit Center as generally shown in Attachment B. Design drawings including electrical plan sheets for the site construction are included with this bid as Attachment C. Photos of the locations in the public parking lot for placement of the charging stations are included as Attachment D. As part of the separately contracted site construction, all required electrical underground infrastructure and wiring will be installed prior to installation and connection of the new EV charging stations. All signage, pavement markings, and lighting are complete.
