Summary of Specifications:
The Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado will receive sealed bids for construction of improvements to Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport AIP Project No. 3-08-0023-33-2014. The work involved includes the following: Bidding and Procurement of an Index B, Class 4, 1500 gallon ARFF Vehicle.Bids must be received by the Loveland City Clerk’s Office, Loveland Civic Center, 500 East Third Street, Loveland, CO 80537 on or before 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014, and then opened, read aloud and canvassed. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier’s Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins, or by Bid Bond in like amount executed by a Surety Company. The proposed contract is under and subject to 49 CFR part 30, Trade Restriction. The Bidder must certify that they are not owned, controlled, or have entered in a contract with countries that discriminate against U.S. firms.
