2023-066 - Ion Chromatography (IC) Instrument

The City of Loveland requires an Ion Chromatography (IC) instrument to analyze drinking water, source water, and wastewater matrices. The instrument must be able to analyze both EPA Method 300.1 for anions and ASTM D6919-17 for cations down to the part per billion (ppb) concentration level. The instrument should incorporate a built-in regenerating sample filtration system with a filter pore size small enough to meet sterile filtration requirements in order to prevent biofouling of instrument components. Inline filtration using a single filter is desired to reduce consumable cost and operating overhead.
The unit should include a column heater and eluent degasser to improve instrument performance. The instrument design should also be modular to allow for addition of components to the IC system, which would eliminate the need to purchase a new instrument to expand functionality. The maintenance contract, installation service, and training packages for this instrument must be included with the bid price options. Finally, a response time of less than one week for service and maintenance is desired.
