Summary of Specifications:
The City of Loveland, Colorado is seeking proposals from qualified firms for Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Engineering services for Mehaffey Park. The proposals shall be submitted by one lead firm and list all sub consultants that will provide services for the project. Mehaffey Park is a 60 acre community park located in west Loveland, north of 22nd Street and west of Wilson Avenue, see MAPS. Primary access to the park will be off of 22nd Street with additional access provided off of 29th St. and future Rio Blanco Avenue. Mehaffey may be developed in a single phase or multiple phases for construction purposes, depending on the budget and schedule. The City desires to develop approx. 30-35 acres in the first phase and if possible complete the entire park construction depending on budget appropriations. The City of Loveland is seeking planning, architecture and engineering services for the entitlement process and master planning. The City may also pursue final construction drawings, documents and specifications for the entire project or a phased approach to construction. The final determination regarding the ultimate project scope of work contracted will be made by December 2011. Proposal shall include all work requested as described in this RFP. In addition to master planning the consultant will be contracted to complete and submit all documents required for the annexation, zoning, and approval through the development review and building permit process.
