Description

PURPOSE:
Traffic Operations intends to obtain software and associated support, for up to twenty intersections in east Loveland from a qualified traffic signal company.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The chosen company shall possess the expertise, experience and resources necessary to perform, provide and be responsible for the following:
Adaptive Signal System – The chosen company will provide a state of the art adaptive traffic signal system for up to twenty intersections. The system shall run on Trafficware Rackmount Commander controllers with no additional hardware required. The system shall be fully integrated with the City’s existing Trafficware ATMS.now central signal system and require no additional software to be installed at the Traffic Operations Center (TOC). The City will be responsible for providing all hardware, detection, and communications for the adaptive system. The system shall be capable of expanding to include additional intersections, both along the given corridor and on any of the cross streets. A detailed operations concept will be provided to the successful proposer after the contract is executed.

Proposals must be received at bids@cityofloveland.org on or before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Proposals must be remitted in electronic format only and be marked in the subject line “US34 Adaptive Signals”. A principal of the company must sign the submittal cover letter and the proposal itself.
Proposals that have not been received by the deadline set forth above, as determined by the Purchasing Division, will not be considered. The City is not responsible for delays occasioned by internet and/or email disruptions.
