RFP- PSD 2016-06 - 2016 Street Improvement Projects (Crack Seal/Mill/Overlay/ADA)

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Manitou Springs Public Works is concentrating on upgrading failing infrastructure, including numerous street surfaces. Manitou Springs is a tourist driven economy, the City’s goal is to provide welcoming roadways devoid of potholes. This project consists of 2” milling and overlayment of existing asphalt on both Pawnee Avenue and Crystal Hills Boulevard. It is anticipated that it will require approximately 25,200 ft2 of asphalt and the improvement of two (2) ADA Crossings for Pawnee Avenue, and approximately 72,000 ft2 of asphalt for Crystal Hills Boulevard. Approximately 97,200 ft2 of asphalt millings will need to removed, and delivered to the City’s Public Services yard, at 101 Banks Place, in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
