Description

The City of Manitou Springs is accepting information for partial remodel of the City Hall building located at 606 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs, CO 80829. This partial remodel entails the restructuring of Planning and Parking departments. This project includes removal and installation of walls, electrical work (eg: lighting, electrical outlets, and switches), and cubicals. Plans involve approximately eight 6x8 cubicals and building of two offices and one meeting room. Attached are suggested preliminary drawings for reference. Information is being requested for each set of drawings.

Deadline to present questions is February 18, 2022, 5 PM.

Submission shall be submitted to the contact persons electronically or via mail / hand delivery to 606 Manitou Avenue, Manitou Springs, CO 80829 no later than the Submittal Deadline.
- There will not be a public information meeting.

PURPOSE
The City of Manitou Springs is soliciting information from potential sources for the project identified in this RFI. Responses to this RFI are considered non-binding and are only used to gather information to be used for budgetary and specification preparation purposes. It will also be used to determine the number of companies that exists in the industry for a possible future competitive procurement.

It is not the intent of the City to award a contract as a result of this RFI. However, in the event that the responses indicate little or no interest, the City reserves the right to pursue a competitive negotiation process or to consider an unsolicited proposal without issuing a formal RFP if it is in the best interest of the City. If this RFI determines that there are sufficient interested and qualified vendors/contractors and favorable monetary estimates, the City may issue a formal RFP (Request for Proposal) for these services. If an RFP is issued then all firms that responded to this RFI will be added to our source list and will be formally invited to propose a bid.
