Summary of Specifications:
The City of Pueblo is developing a skateboard park facility that will be approximately 25,000-30,000 square feet, designed to incorporate a variety of wheeled-uses within a four acre multiple component park area and trail system bordering the east side of Fountain Creek located between East 4th Street and East 8th Streets. The skateboard park will be located within a “Creekside Access and Activity Area” adjacent to Fountain Creek and adjacent to the “dry side” of an Army Corps of Engineers flood levee (See Exhibit A, Fountain Creek Corridor Recreation & Open Space Projects – South Project Area Concept Plan). The layout of the skateboard park should entertain and challenge users of all skill levels, and provide spectators the opportunity to view the activities in a comfortable park setting. A pre-qualified skateboard park design/engineering Consultant will be part of an overall consultant team that will complete the final site planning, surveying, design, engineering, construction documents, technical specifications, and potentially construction management of the overall four acre Pueblo Fountain Creek Watershed Project area. All improvements will be completed on property that is owned by the City of Pueblo. This Statement of Qualification is for the Skateboard Park design component ONLY.
