The intent of this REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL is to obtain proposals for selecting a qualified consultant, hereinafter referred to as “Consultant”, to develop a compensation, classification and job analysis study for City of Cañon City. Although the City has attempted to monitor its compensation plan, we have concluded that it is time for a comprehensive job analysis and market study to review our positions and pay ranges in order to remain competitive in both attracting and retaining the most talented pool of candidates and employees; and to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
