The City of Fountain (City) is seeking proposals for from qualified certified public accounting firms to audit its financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2022, with the options of auditing its financial statements for each of the subsequent four years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the Colorado Local Government Audit Law, C.R.S. § 29-1-601 et. seq., the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Office’s (GAO) Governmental auditing Standards and the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act and U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-128 Audits of the State and Local Governments.
