Description

Fountain Utilities is seeking a qualified engineering firm to assist with the development of a distribution system expansion plan. This assistance shall come in the form of various scenarios of load growth, alternative expansion options, and system reliability through the installation of substations, transmission, and underground and overhead distribution circuits.
The distribution study shall serve as the baseline for the distribution system as part of our strategic plan for the electric utility. Elements of this study will be used for the prioritization and location of future projects, to include serving in a decision matrix for ongoing distribution system and substation capital planning.

Bidder shall submit five (5) original set and five (5) copies of Bid documents and five (5) original set and five (5) copy of Cost documents. This will greatly facilitate the evaluation process.

The Bid shall remain the property of the City of Fountain. The original copies shall be unbound and clearly marked “Original”.

Bidders should respond with line-item proposals, preference shall be given to bidders who identify major costs of key elements in their study.

Bidders will also be evaluated on references (Exhibit B Attached).

Bidders should provide pricing for the Study Elements.
