Description

The goal of this project is to convert the existing five vehicular travel lanes into a two-way Complete Street with two vehicle travel lanes, parallel parking lanes, 8-feet wide walkways, tree and landscaping areas, and an 8-feet wide, two-way separated bike lane. An additional piece of the RFP is the transformation of the North Landing area immediate adjacent to the Grand Ave pedestrian bridge. Utility and lighting improvements are also proposed per the design documents in the RFP. All work is to be performed in accordance with the “State Department of Highways – Division of Highways – State of Colorado – Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction”, latest edition and City of Glenwood Springs Design Standards.
