Description

The City of Glenwood Springs (City) has determined that the existing Oasis Creek pump station #2, located at the end of Oxford Street, in the Oasis Creek Subdivision, has undersized pumping facilities and needs to be replaced. The existing pump station pulls water from the Oasis water tank and lifts it to the Glenwood Highlands water tank via an 8” line. This project will replace the existing pump station with a new station, new piping connections, new transformer power supply, installation of a generator and ATS (already provided by the city), new controls and other items necessary for a complete project per the attached plans, specifications, bid schedule and applicable Municipal Codes, Engineering Standards and Building Codes.

The pre-proposal walkthrough will begin at City Hall in Council Chambers, 101 W. 8th Street, promptly at 11 am. Staff will provide a quick overview of the Pump Station design and answer questions, then the meeting will move to the existing pump station location. Attendees will be asked to provide their firm’s name on the official sign-in sheet distributed at the walkthrough.
