Project Overview
The overall objective of this project is to conduct an in-depth ecological assessment and develop a plan that will offer long-term protection to local ecosystems. The Wildlife Plan should be developed through the lens of wildlife equity while providing the City of Lafayette with the resources, tools, and information necessary to address wildlife conservation holistically and address possible issues stemming from the interface of urban development.  This is a city-wide wildlife plan much like a Comp Plan, Transportation Plan, or Development Plan.  It's objective will guide city staff on reactions to and future planning of wildlife management.
