Compensation_2022_01 - Classification and Compensation Study

The City of City of Lafayette (“City of Lafayette”) is pleased to release this Request for Proposal for professional services related to the development of a Classification and Compensation Study & Analysis (“Project”). City of Lafayette was incorporated in 1889 by town founder Mary Miller and developed primarily as a coal mining community over the next 60 years. Over the past 20 years, City of Lafayette has developed into an eclectic and creative community with over 30,000 residents.

The overriding goal of the proposed City Classification and Compensation Study & Analysis is for the City of Lafayette to develop a compensation philosophy/strategy that can be applied to all its employees moving forward. The study will take an in-depth look at the City’s classification, compensation, and benefits structure in order to recommend improvements with the goal of ensuring the City is an employer of choice.

The objective of this RFP is to identify respondents (“Respondent”) that satisfy City of Lafayette’s need for developing a Classification and Compensation Study & Analysis. The selected Respondent chosen through this process must demonstrate an ability to develop a comprehensive and detailed study and analysis.
