The City of Lafayette (“city”) is pleased to release this Request for Proposal for professional services for cultural resource services from qualified vendors with experience in intensive level historic and architectural surveying for an Old Town Outbuilding survey. The city is seeking a qualified consultant in the development of an intensive-level historic and architectural survey. All firms must meet the Secretary of Interior’s Qualifications Standards.

The survey reports will include an assessment of the quality and quantity of architectural resources in the survey area, and intensive architectural surveys of approximately ten accessory resources in Old Town Lafayette.

Proposals are due for this RFP (the “Submission Date”) on Jan. 7, 2022 at 3 PM. One (1) electronic copy of the proposal must be delivered by the Submission Date via file transfer site to philip.kleisler@lafayetteco.gov. The electronic version of the proposal must be in a Searchable PDF format.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

Lafayette reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withdraw or modify this RFP and to reject any proposal as being non-responsive, if it is in the best interest of Lafayette to do so.

Proposals that are incomplete or that are not in conformance with the requirements of this RFP may be eliminated from further consideration. Respondents should note carefully the proposal content requirements outlined in the RFP.
