Description

Construction of RTD Route 228 Extension transit stops at four locations; the east and west sides of State Highway 42/95th Street north of Baseline Road, Forest Park Circle, and North Park Drive. See Plans for project location map.
The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to furnishing labor, materials and equipment for the construction of the following:
Construction of four concrete bus pads, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, grading and earthwork, pavement patching, demolition, erosion and sediment control, and drainage pipe installation.

Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Lafayette, 1290 South Public Road, Lafayette, Colorado 80026 until 10:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time on October 18, 2022 for the construction of a certain public building and/or public works in accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and Specifications prepared by RockSol Consulting Group, Inc., and the Regional Transportation District.

Bids received after said closing time of 10:00 a.m., MDT will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

Bids shall be in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the project name and addressed as follows:

Contract Documents may be obtained from Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado).
Questions regarding the documents may be directed to Bryan McIlwee, City Engineer, at bryan.mcilwee@lafayetteco.gov.
Questions pertaining to the Bid and Contract Documents must be received no later than 12:00 p.m., October 13, 2022. Any questions received after this date and time will not be addressed.
Bids will be received on a unit price and lump sum price basis as described in the Bidding Documents.
Each Bid shall contain evidence of Bidder’s qualification to do business in the state of Colorado or covenant to obtain such qualification.
No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for opening Bids.
The City of Lafayette assumes no responsibility for payment of any expenses incurred by any respondent to this Invitation to Bid.
