The City of Westminster is soliciting bids for the demolition of a residential property located at 9889 Alkire St. Arvada, Colorado 80005. The project involves the demolition of a 1,938 square foot, one-story, single-family ranch style residential structure with a crawl space and gabled metal roof that was constructed in 1946 and renovated in 1995. In addition, there are 10 out-buildings that include sheds for chickens, goats and livestock. The date of construction for these out-buildings is unknown. The property has been tested for asbestos with no materials found at high levels. Asbestos found is <1% and can be removed using limited engineering techniques.
