CNCC FY24-012 - Replace Campus Sidewalks

Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for design services for the Sidewalk Replacement Project located on the Rangely campus. This project is derived from a Civil Rights Monitoring Review that found many of CNCC’s ramps, sidewalks, and paths that do not meet current accessibility requirements. The selected firm will review the Voluntary Compliance Plan (VCP) and provide design services to meet or exceed the compliance plan requirements.

CNCC has conducted a site survey, but many points are inaccurate. The selected firm will be required to conduct a new site survey or provide a sub-consultant for site survey and construction surveying services.

CNCC estimates approximately 28,000 sf of concrete demo and replacement.

With the passing of HB21-1303, this project is required to comply with the Buy Clean Colorado Act requirements and the selected firm will need to verify design is within the established maximum acceptable global warming potential (GWP) limits for categories of eligible materials.  

This project is contingent on funding from the annual Long Bill. CNCC anticipates the project will be funded in May 2024.

CNCC anticipates using the Design/Bid/Build delivery method and has a fixed limit cost of construction budget of $1,486,455.00
