Summary of Specifications:
Separate sealed bids for 2010 SIDEWALK REPAIR THROUGHOUT DOUGLAS COUNTY, DOUGLAS COUNTY PROJECT NUMBER CI 10-004 will be received by the Owner, Douglas County Government, Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Suite 250, Castle Rock, CO 80104, until Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. This project consists of sidewalk repair and handicap ramp upgrades in Highlands Ranch and Stonegate Subdivision area.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the above address after 10:00 a.m., on Monday, January 4, 2010, and copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon payment of $25.00 for each set. The $25.00 is non-refundable. (Additional charge if mailing is required.)
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at the Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, Conference Rooms A&B, Main Floor, 100 Third Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104. The Bid Opening will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 on the 2nd Floor at the same address.
The Project includes the following major items and approximate quantities:
• 6,000 Linear Feet of Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk • 900 Square Yard Concrete Pavement • 950 Square Yards 6 Inch Concrete Curb Ramps • 350 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt (Patching) • 1,600 Tons Aggregate Base Course • 900 Cubic Yards Unclassified Excavation
Prior to submitting a Bid Proposal, Bidders shall have received prequalification status (active status) with the Colorado Department of Transportation to bid on individual projects of the size and kind of work as set forth herein.
