IFB-036-09 - Anti-Icing/De-Icing Agents

Summary of Specifications:
The Purchasing Division of Douglas County Government, in conjunction with the Road & Bridge Division, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests bids from responsible qualified firms for the provision of the purchase of approximately 400,000 gallons of Liquid Anti-Icing/De-Icing Agent and for the purchase of approximately 10,000 tons of granular De-Icing Agent, to be delivered in bulk. All quantities stated are estimates only. The actual purchased quantities will be dependent on weather conditions and availability of funds during the contract period. The quantities provided are for bid pricing only and shall not be construed as guaranteed purchase quantities. Prices bid shall be good through December 31, 2010, regardless of the quantity purchased. Alternative products may be considered at the sole discretion of the County.
