Summary of Specifications:
Separate sealed bids for Hess Road Extension – East Phase (Water Treatment Plant to Chambers Road), Douglas County Project Number CI 01-022 will be received by the Owner, Douglas County Government, Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, 2nd Floor, Engineering Division, Castle Rock, CO 80104, until Wednesday, September 16, at 2:00 pm. This project consists of approximately 1.42 miles of roadway (0.63 paved surface and 0.79 gravel surface) including a 71 foot single span bridge for extending Hess Road to the west. This project is the first phase to ultimately extend Hess Road to the I-25 / Castle Pines Interchange. The Contract Documents may be examined at the above address after 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 24, 2009, and copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon payment of $25.00 for each set. The $25.00 is non-refundable. (Additional charge if mailing is required.) A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at the Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S.
