Summary of Specifications:
Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests bids from newspapers, qualified under Colorado Revised Statute (C.R.S.) 24-70-103 and 39-11-105, for the provision of the publishing of the County’s privately and publicly funded legal notices and delinquent tax notices, on an as-needed basis, for the period of fourteen (14) months, beginning approximately November 1, 2011 to and including December 31, 2012. Douglas County reserves the right to enter into agreements with multiple newspapers for separate components of the County’s publishing needs but not others (less than all). The County shall have the option to renew this contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each, with the same terms and conditions. All prices proposed shall be firm and fixed for the initial contract period and may be re-negotiated after the initial contract period. This agreement and/or extension to the original period of a subject contract shall be contingent upon annual funding being appropriated, budgeted and otherwise made available for such purposes and subject to the County’s satisfaction with services received during the preceding contract period.
