RFP-021-11 - Retirement Plan Consulting

Summary of Specifications:
The Department of Human Resources in conjunction with the County Manager and the Retirement Advisory Committee of Douglas County, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests proposals from responsible and qualified firms for the provision of retirement plan consulting services on the County’s 401(a) money purchase plan and 457 defined contribution plans. 

The County of Douglas has approximately 1,025 actively employed, benefit eligible employees. Regular (non-temporary) employees are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following their date of hire. 

The agreement issued as a result of this RFP, will be for an initial period of twelve (12) months, beginning approximately September 1, 2011 to and including August 31, 2012. All proposed fees shall be firm and fixed for the initial contract period.
