The El Paso County Department of Public Works-Facilities and Security Division (County) is seeking written Best Value Bids from qualified vendors to provide all labor, materials and permits, if required, for the El Paso County Employee Benefits Division Office Remodel Project. All services and materials shall be provided per the following scope of work, requirements and attached drawings.
The project is a reconfiguration of office space for the El Paso County Employee Benefits Division located in the Pikes Peak Regional Development Center. One part of an open office space will be enclosed with a new wall and door to create as separate office. Remodel includes moving a door in an office. The contractor would also need to coordinate with County IT and VTI Security for data and card reader work. This project will need a Regional Building Department permit to be provided by the general contractor.
The work will be able to be performed during normal business hours. All workers, including subcontractors, will need to undergo a background check. This will be through El Paso County Security and Parking Operations. They will require a valid government issued ID card, a valid social security card and a security form to be filled out. The cost per person is $7.00.
