Description

El Paso County Department of Public Works (County) proposes to construct a project to improve drainage along Sand Gulch and convey flows under Chipita Park Road into Fountain Creek in northwestern El Paso County, Colorado. The Project will generally consist of realigning and armoring approximately 600 feet of the existing Sand Gulch Channel between US24 and Chipita Park Road, installing a 10’ x 6’ concrete box culvert under Chipita Park Road, construction of an armored channel that will feed in to Fountain Creek, constructing a portion of Ute Pass trail that crosses Sand Gulch and relocating a private driveway.
