21-114 - Construction of the Fountain Mesa Road - Caballero Avenue Intersection

El Paso County, Colorado is seeking written best value bids from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the Construction of the Fountain Mesa Road-Caballero Avenue Intersection Project (Project), which includes but is not limited to: the installation of a single-lane roundabout and associated repairing and widening the Fountain Mesa Road approaches, modifying the existing underground drainage system, lighting improvements, pedestrian improvements, and signing/pavement markings at the intersection and along Fountain Mesa Road up to Fontaine Boulevard, per the attached specifications and drawings herein. 
Construction shall be primarily within County right-of-way or within right-of-way or easements obtained by the County, with some portions extending into the City of Fountain. The Project has El Paso County oversight. This project is funded through El Paso County TABOR funds. The Project is NOT subject to Davis-Bacon requirements and there is no DBE or OJT goal.
