18-046 - Construction of the Rainbow Falls Access Improvement Project

El Paso County, Colorado (County) is seeking written best value bids from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the Construction of the Rainbow Falls Access Improvement Project (Project), which will provide pedestrian, vehicular, and park improvements at Rainbow Falls Recreation Area for the El Paso County Community Services Department (Department) per the attached specifications and drawings herein. This project is being funded through the following sources:  Federal/State (CDOT Project No. STM P2CO-004 and Project Code 19437) and El Paso County. The budget for the Project’s construction will be in the range of $350,000 to $420,000.
 
All of the construction will be within County property or within easements obtained by the County. The Project has CDOT oversight with a DBE goal set at 0% for construction, zero (0) hours of OJT are required, and the Project is subject to Davis-Bacon requirements.
