18-010 - Employment First Services

The El Paso County Department of Human Services (Department) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for provision of case management and employment services to participants of the El Paso County Employment First Program.  This program is authorized under the United States Department of Agriculture, with funding and program requirements set forth by the Colorado Department of Human Services.
 
Employment First is a federally mandated program that promotes self-sufficiency and independence by assisting Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients in gaining employment through job skills training, work experience, and job search support activities which will improve their ability to achieve long term employment.  The program is supervised by the state and administered by each individual county.
