IFB-15-070 - Office of the Sheriff Reception Security Upgrade Project

Summary of Specifications:
The project consists of an interior remodel of a 150 square foot reception area on the first floor of the Office of the Sheriff. The space is currently a part of the public lobby and is open to the occupants of and visitors to the building. The new design shall enclose the reception alcove and provide security upgrades, including attack-resistant construction and secure communication with the public. The Contractor shall have some minor demolition work, new finishes, new casework, revised mechanical system, revised fire suppression system, revised electrical lighting and power systems, and installation of new communications/data outlets. The reception alcove shall be unoccupied during construction but the adjacent public lobby will remain functioning.
