18-016 - Trap and Skeet Facility Construction

El Paso County (County) is seeking best value bids from qualified, experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the construction of Trap and Skeet Facility Components at the Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex (Project), located in the vicinity of Fort Carson Gate 20, southwest of I-25, Exit 132.  
 
This project is funded by a Colorado Parks and Wildlife grant, a donation from the Regional Building Department, and Conservation Trust Funds.  This project does not have CDOT oversight; there is no DBE requirement and no Davis Bacon requirement.
 
The work includes providing grading and drainage for an area to the north of the existing Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex for two trap and skeet ranges.  Three additional trap and skeet ranges will be constructed in the future.  A portion of the work will be completed by others. It is anticipated that the County and Fort Carson will provide Construction Management (CM) services. The site development and construction of the high and combination houses are not part of this scope and will be completed by others.
