Summary of Specifications:
Elbert County Public Works Department, State of Colorado, is herby accepting sealed bids for a design build construction project to include the addition of a conference room, storage rooms and break room in the Agriculture Building located on the Elbert County Fairgrounds. Project to include the following: removal of existing radiant heat, installation of drop ceilings, plumbing to break room, electrical installation, heating/cooling installation, carpet/tile installation and required permits. Project must be completed no later than April 30, 2015. Interested parties may schedule a date to do a walkthrough of the building. Please contact Kyrei Zion at 303-621-3152 to schedule a time.
Bids will be accepted until 9:00 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015. One copy of said bid shall be submitted. Bids will not be considered which are received after the time stated and any bids received after the cutoff time will be returned unopened. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m., or as soon as possible thereafter, Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the Commissioner Meeting Room, Elbert County Courthouse, 215 Comanche Street, Kiowa, Colorado 80117. The bid opening is open to the public. Please mail bids to: Elbert County Fairgrounds, Attn: Kyrei Zion, P.O. Box 189, Kiowa, CO 80117. Please mark on the outside of the envelope “AGRICULTURE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION”
Elbert County Government reserves the right, as its interest may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive formalities and informalities contained in-said bid and furthermore to award a contract for items herein, either in whole or in part, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of Elbert County to do so. Additionally, Elbert County reserves the right to negotiate optional items and or services with the successful bidder.
