An optional solicitation pre-bid conference and site visit shall be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Road & Bridge Department conference room located at 0298 County Road 333A, Building A, Rifle, Colorado, 81650. Any interested parties can then meet onsite to walk the proposed improvements. The purpose of this conference and site visit is to give perspective offerors a forum to meet with Garfield County and design personnel to ask questions to better prepare their respective Bids.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Garfield County will accept either physical or electronic bid submissions. For physical bid submissions, it is the responsibility of each bidder to ensure that its Bid is received at the designated location at or before the closing time for the receipt of bids in response to this IFB. Any bids received after the scheduled closing time will not be accepted or considered for a contract award and will be returned unopened to the bidder. Bids shall be delivered to the Garfield County Procurement Department, 810 Pitkin Avenue, Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601. Faxed Bids will not be accepted.
For electronic bid submissions, all bids must be submitted via the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (RMEPS) at www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure that electronic bids are submitted prior to bid closing time. The Procurement Department does not have access or control of the vendor side of RMEPS. Electronic bids shall be uploaded as a single PDF file.
