Description

The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to procure new Land Mobile Radio subscriber units for multiple departments within Gilpin County. The County recently completed a study on future directions for its radio system due to a number of its partners moving to the State of Colorado’s Digital Trunked Radio System (DTRS). Based on that study, Gilpin County has an urgent need to upgrade its radio subscriber unit fleet to primarily dual-band radios that can operate both on their current VHF conventional system and the Colorado DTRS. The transition to the DTRS is slated to take place March 1, 2020.

Proposals must be received by 3:00 pm Mountain Time on January 13, 2020 in order to be considered. Late submissions will not be opened.
