Summary of Specifications:
La Plata County is seeking bids for a 2016 extendable backhoe loader. The detailed specifications describes a 2016, 4x4, extendable stick backhoe/loader with a minimum 1 yrd loader bucket. The backhoe will be operated in mountainous terrain on a mix of paved, graveled and unimproved roads. Elevations range from 5,000 to 10,000 feet with ambient temperatures of -35 to +100 degrees. The unit shall be durable enough for all weather operation on a year round basis for extended periods of time.
