Summary of Specifications:
The La Plata County Sheriff’s Office Day Reporting Center (DRC) was created in July 2001 as an alternative to incarceration for repeat alcohol offenders. Its purpose is to reduce jail population for misdemeanor sentences and provide treatment while allowing the offenders to maintain employment and live at home. The County is seeking treatment providers to work collaboratively to provide treatment classes that all offenders are required to attend in Durango, Colorado. The contract may be awarded to as many as three providers to share the classroom time, staff meetings, and intake responsibilities.
