Summary of Specifications:
The La Plata County (County) is requesting sealed bids for the crushing/production of aggregate chips known as cover coat to be used by County on various road projects. 3/4” minus chips 2,000 tons 1/2” minus Chips 1,500 tons 3/8” Chips 2,295 tons County reserves the right to make minor adjustments in quantities awarded if necessary to meet budgetary constraints. County reserves the right to separate the gravel crushing work to more than one contractor. County reserves the right to consider the haul cost from the Pit location offered by the bidder to each project location when evaluating and awarding the bid.
