Summary of Specifications:
The specifications and drawings establish minimum acceptable standards for the installation, construction, and documentation of the leachate management system (system) at the closed Durango Landfill for La Plata County (LPC). The specifications govern the following activities: Installation of horizontal drains; Installation of lateral connections; Connection to the sanitary sewer system; and Associated components. Contractors must be capable of and have the equipment for horizontal drilling.
